My daughter is 11 and getting ready for her teen years. I got this book to help her stay confident as life gets more complicated. I enjoyed reading this book because the advice is relevant and easy for her to use. It covers friendships, body image, and social media in a supportive way. The journal prompts help her open up and find her strengths. It is thoughtful guide for growing girls.

I know is not the intention, but I think books like this should be used like I did. I read the book two times and then talked to my daughter about it, explaining everything step by step, and it always makes her feel like this came from me, and gives her more confidence in me. I wouldn’t just pull her and say, read this… nah, I read and I give her the information… I get the points, not the book, hahahaha.
